Publicis Media simplifies with Gerry Boyle to lead EMEA and APAC as CEO

Publicis Media has brought the EMEA and APAC teams closer together by putting Gerry Boyle in charge of both operations.

Serving as chief executive of both regions, Boyle expands his remit from just handling APAC duty. He will report into Steve King, chief executive officer of Publicis Media. He replaces Iain Jacob in running the EMEA operation with Jacob leaving in May after handling the transition.

Atop this, Nicole Pruesse, EMEA chief operating officer, will also oversee APAC. She will report back into Boyle.

King said: “Gerry is a proven and well-known leader, strategist and client partner. In his most recent role as Publicis Media CEO, APAC, he delivered much success, including establishing the Publicis Media model in the region, developing a network of outstanding leaders, and driving client businesses forward. Nicole is also an extraordinary leader, well-equipped to build on our momentum across markets.”

Tim Jones will continue to lead Publicis Media Americas.
