The charity War Child has seen a 96% increase in year-on-year donations following the launch of a new web platform courtesy of Manchester based CTI Digital.

The digital agency was tasked with producing a new live site in time for Christmas, developing the War Child UK website while adding a series of digital features including petition signing and direct debit donations and adding a series of additional features to the extendable Drupal platform.

Dave O’Carroll, head of digital at War Child UK, commented: “The Drupal platform is so easy to use that different teams across War Child are able to manage their own site section, without having to be digital or IT experts. It’s been fantastic to see the increases in the donation rate, meaning the website can help us reach even more of the world’s most vulnerable children with our crucial work.”

War Child UK, is a world-wide charity for children affected by conflict and war. The charity works across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America providing protect, education and livelihood skills. The charity also campaigns on the root causes of conflict and ensuring that children are at the centre of humanitarian response.
