This week has seen another wave of appointments and departures at brands, media owners and agencies. The Drum has rounded up the key moves from the EMEA, APAC and North America regions below.

EMEA people are on the move

MediaCom

MediaCom has announced the appointment of Ben Rickard as chief digital and data officer. Rickard, formerly senior partner at Wavemaker, has been tasked with leading MediaCom UK's digital and data transformation plans.

Havas Group Media

Havas Group Media has named Lindsay Macintyre as new business director across its London and Manchester offices. Reporting to Tracey Barber, group chief marketing officer of Havas UK, Macintyre joins from MediaCom, where she was associate director of marketing and new business.

Publicis Media

Kristen Kelly has been appointed to the role of executive vice president of Publicis Media Precision's EMEA division, with immediate effect. Kelly has been tasked with accelerating the business' growth across the region.

Kantar Media

Kantar Media has announced the appointment of Bas de Vos as global director fo audience targeting and activation. De Vos joins directly from GfK, where he was global director of strategy and media measurement.

Quantcast

Quantcast has appointed Carolyn Watt as EMEA director of strategy and innovation. Serving as part of the company's UK leadership team, Watt joins from Yabber Digital, a consulting business she founded in 2009.

Exterion Media

Out-of-home company Exterion Media has named former Oath UK managing director Nigel Clarkson as UK chief revenue officer alongside Andrea Marsh as digital transformation director. Marsh previously worked for Time, Emap, Bauer Media and Factory Media.

Weber Shandwick

Weber Shandwick, the global communications firm, as hired Patricia McDonald as managing director of strategy and insights in the UK. McDonald previously served as chief strategy officer at Isobar.

PMK BNC

Entertainment agency PMK BNC as appointed Naomi Ticehurst as head of influencer marketing in the UK. Ticehurst will be responsible for the agency's strategic influencer framework for UK and global clients such as American Express and Diageo.

Carnage Films

Carnage Films has hired Piggy Lines as creative partner, as part of its push to hone its automotive expertise. Lines, who was a founding partner with Spark44 and Keko London, previously worked on motoring brands like Jaguar and Bentley.

Copper

Cooper, the specialist infrastructure, property and built environment communications consultancy, has appointed Ben Heatley as director. Formerly director of FleshmanHillard Fishburn, Heatley will deliver strategic advice on major infrastructure and property projects.

Adform

Adtech platform Adform has announced the promotions of three of its senior leadership team. The role of chief operating officer Oliver Whitten has expanded from oversight over the EMEA region to global revenue; Holger Mews has been promoted to chief revenue officer; while Rick Jones, previously senior vice president of the Nordics and the UK, will now also oversee the Benelux region.

Dare

Digital agency Dare has announced the appointment of Caroline Sparkes as managing partner, alongside Chris Cavey and Scott Anderson as business directors. Sparkes and Cavey join from Critical Mass, while Anderson joins the firm from Collective London.

Rapp UK

Rapp UK has announced the appointment of Al Mackie as chief creative office in a newly created role for the integrated agency. Mackie was previously executive creative director at Rapier.

Gameloft

French mobile game publisher Gameloft has announced the appointment of Damien Marchi as vice president of marketing. Marchi will oversee all marketing activity in the 40 local markets that Gameloft operates in.

Generator

Hosteling brand Generator has appointed Jason Rieff as its new chief marketing officer. Rieff's appointment is intended to drive strategic brand partnerships and establish Generator as a leading travel brand.

APAC people on the move

Saatchi & Saatchi Australia

Saatchi & Saatchi Australia has announced that CEO Michael Rebelo will step down after six years at the top. His successor, Anthony Gregorio was most recently CEO of Havas Worlwide Group.

Kantar

Global insights consultancy Kantar has appointed Nitin Nishandar as chief commercial officer of its Insights Division (Kantar TNS and Kantar Millward Brown) across North Asia, South East Asia and Pacific. The newly-created role reflects a desire to deliver world-class client impact in a way that answers the needs of businesses in the dynamic markets of Asia.

The Story Lab

The Story Lab, global investor, producer and distributor of premium entertainment content and part of Dentsu Aegis Network, has appointed Geraldine Bravo as regional content sales and acquisition director for Asia Pacific.

McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific

McCann has confirmed that Spencer Wong, chief executive and creative chairman for McCann & Spencer, is leaving the network to pursue other interests.

RhythmOne

Luke Bussell has been named managing director ANZ, overseeing the Asia Pacific region and its new end-to-end programmatic offering.

BBH Singapore

BBH has hired Mara Vidal as creative director and she will mainly focus on IKEA, where she will build on the creative work that BBH has already been delivering for the brand.

Pulse Communications

The WPP AUNZ agency has appointed award winning integrated communications professional Remy Le Fèvre to the role of director. He was previously with Ogilvy PR in London in the role of creative director.

Essence

Kingshuk Mitra, former managing director of Maxus Philippines, has been named chief operating officer for APAC in a newly created position. Monica Bhatia has joined as vice president, client partner to lead the Google business in APAC.

Walrus

Independent agency Walrus has announced the appointment of Paul Savaiano as head of strategy. Savaiano was previously lead strategist 72andSunny, and more recently, head of strategy at Taxi.

DDB Chicago

DDB Chicago has promoted Mel Routhier to executive creative director from her previous position of group creative director. Routhier and fellow executive creative director Colin Selikow will both report to DDB Chicago chief creative officer John Maxham. With her promotion, Routhier will continue overseeing the creative for State Farm.

DWA

Krish Sailam has been hired as vice president of Programmatic. Sailam, who joins from Cadreon, will be based in DWA's San Francisco office.

Vice Media

Vice Media, has named Dominique Delport as chief revenue officer and president of international. The Emmy Award-winning Delport joins Vice on the heels of the appointment of Nancy Dubuc as chief executive officer. Delport, who previously served as global managing director of Havas Group, will report to Dubuc.

Popular Pays

Content creation platform Popular Pays has appointed John Schneider has its first-ever chief revenue officer, effective immediately. Schneider joins the firm with 18 years of experience with Yahoo!, Federated Media and Funny Or Die under his belt.

360i

​360i has promoted Abbey Klaassen to president of its New York office. She previously served as chief marketing officer. In her new position, Klaassen will guide direction and strategic decisions for the company, and will be responsible for the growth and culture of the agency’s New York location – home to 550 employees and numerous marquee accounts.

My Friend's Nephew

Atlanta-based omnichannel creative agency My Friend's Nephew (MFN) has appointed Ben Wallis as associate creative director and Melissa Withorn as senior designer/art director. The new hires come at a time of momentum for the three-year-old independent agency, which has seen year-over-year growth as it continues to win new business.

Greenpoint Pictures

Director Renee Mao has joined bi-coastal production and post company Greenpoint Pictures for global representation.

78Madison

Central Florida-based agency 78Madison has expanded its creative team with the addition of Izaak Hale as senior art director. Hale comes to 78Madison from That! Company, an internet marketing agency, where he served for the past nine years as graphic/web designer.

Burns Group

Burns Group, a brand transformation and advertising company, has promoted chief strategy officer Joanne McKinney to the role of chief executive officer (CEO). McKinney has been the strategic leader of Burns Group for the past eight years. She is Burns Group’s first CEO in company history.

Quench

Food and beverage marketing agency, quench, has appointed Jared Scott as general manager/director of brand management. The move marks a key step in a plan to nearly double the size of the agency’s Philadelphia office by the end of 2018. Scott will lead business development, agency PR and brand management across all quench offices and agencies, as well as help with operations and resource management.
