Holden is tapping into Australians nostalgia for the iconic Holden Commodore with a campaign to spruik the new model.
The ‘For Sure’ campaign showcases the features of the new model and aims to remind Australians of the certainty that Commodore drivers have, both in themselves and their cars. The brand hopes to shift perceptions of the car model and elevate the brand’s status among other car marques.
The ad follows a man from childhood through to adulthood as he is questioned about his choices and decisions and plays.
Holden executive marketing director Mark Harland said, “We've got confidence that the all-new Commodore range will deliver for Australian families, and we're excited our new campaign 'For Sure' brings that to life.”
The campaign was created by The Monkeys and directed by Stephen Carroll at Revolver.
The Monkeys co-founder and group chief creative officer Justin Drape said, “The future of Holden and Commodore is something we’re proud to be a part of. Commodore is one of Australia’s most iconic brands, and is rich with so many remarkable stories pertaining to innovation and design.”
The campaign will run across TV, print, OOH, digital and social channels.
