Madame Tussauds in conjunction with Blackpool Transport organised a stunt featuring Marvel superhero 'The Incredible Hulk' to announce the opening of a new Marvel Superheroes area.
Hulk is seen smashing a tram in front of the Blackpool Tower as part of the stunt.
He will be joined by other Marvel characters like Thor and Spiderman in the £1m 5,501 addition square foot to the attraction. The exhibition opens to the public on 23 March.
The museum will further add four distinct zones and will include interactive experiences for the visitors.
The attraction takes inspiration from the original comics as well as the blockbuster films.
Matthew Titherington, manager at Madame Tussauds Blackpool, said: “We are thrilled to announce the addition of Marvel Super Heroes to the attraction, in an amazing UK first.
“The new area will be a must-visit destination for all Marvel fans, offering the chance to get up close and personal to their favourite characters from the big screen.”
The Hulk stopped traffic in Blackpool today – literally – as the iconic green superhero was seen apparently stopping a tram, causing dramatic scenes on the seafront. https://t.co/2d2PIftq6Mpic.twitter.com/1k0T3gcRJC
