Influential APAC digital marketers revealed for the first time in The Drum Digerati Asia Pacific

Back in January, The Drum asked the industry to nominate exceptional individuals, within the four spaces of agency, adtech and martech, brand and media owner, and provide a rationale as to why they deserve inclusion in the list this year. After receiving hundreds of nominations, The Drum’s editorial team curated a final list of 50, considering the submissions and achievements from over the past 12 months, particularly for those putting time in outside the day job to push the digital agenda.

Charlotte McEleny, Asia Pacific and deputy editor of The Drum, said: “The digital investment and maturity is different in every Asia Pacific market and, while that does make a list like this tough to collate, it makes the cause even more worthwhile. Some of the most exciting digital work in the world is happening in this region and yet it often goes without the recognition on a global level.”

“Many markets in Asia Pacific don’t have the industry infrastructure maturity of others too, the extra curricular element of driving industry growth isn’t as expected. So those giving up time to drive the digital agenda by being on the boards of trade organisations like the IAB, committing time to educational institutes and even putting their opinion out to the masses really should be celebrated,” she added.
