Facebook urges users in India to use its platform for self-enrichment in an integrated campaign

Facebook has rolled out four localised quirky spots as part of its integrated advertising campaign 'Live What You Love' in India.

Conceptualised by Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, each one minute spot features four different individuals namely Sandeep, Neha, Sunny and Heena who are narrating their various interest in lives and showcasing how they are utilizing Facebook to connect and explore things they are interested in.

According to the press release, Facebook aims to build awareness and inspiration among people on how to make the best out of its platform. The campaigns run across outdoor, TV, print, online, including Facebook, and cinema.

W+K Amsterdam creative directors, Daniel Schaefer and Szymon Rose, said: “There’s a very palpable desire in India to resist being defined by the expectations of others. Today people in India choose to define themselves.

"Throughout this campaign, we celebrate the unique interests and multi-dimensional passions that make Indians who they are, and show how Facebook is a powerful tool for everyone’s self-enrichment.”

Only last month Facebook and Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam launched a small biz campaign in the UK.
