Match.com has appointed MediaCom to its UK media account

Agency wins

Online dating site Match.com has appointed MediaCom UK to its UK media account, ending its relationship with incumbent agency Vizieum.

MediaCom UK will work with Match across all its propositions, which include Match.com, Tinder and OK Cupid.

MG, the SAIC Group automotive brand, has appointed Wavemaker to manage its integrated media buying and planning account in China. The appointment followed a competitive pitch against three other agencies.

Digital bookmakers Betvictor has picked Karmarama to lead its creative during the 2018 Fifa World Cup.

The agency will be tasked with increasing Betvictor's brand exposure during the tournament, which is one of the highest profile events in the global sporting calendar.

Bridgestone Europe, the largest tyre and rubber company in Europe, has awarded m/Six its media business. The brief will see m/Six focus on digital and social channels in an effort to move the tyre brand away from traditional media. The win caps a year of expansion for m/Six, which opened in 17 new European markets last year.

Australian Football League (AFL) has appointed Clemenger BBDO Melbourne as its creative agency of record following a competitive pitch.

The agency will be tasked with delivering a new brand platform as well as creative work to promote 2018 season launch campaign, marketing of marquee rounds, finals series, and activities to help grow NSW and QLD audiences.

No Nonsense has selected Huge to be its agency of record. The Kayser-Roth Corporation-owned hosiery brand has handed over responsibility for its marketing efforts to Huge's Atlanta office, with the hope of reaching a younger, digital-facing demographic.

The Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine has named independent advertising agency Terri & Sandy its first agency of record.

The agency was selected after a multi-agency review for the business that kicked off last November.

Car rental company Thrifty has appointed Y&R Sydney to manage its brand refresh. The agency will be tasked with reinvigorating the brand and promoting its new partnerships Tesla, Uber and the AFL.

Cloud software provider Mindbody has announced a partnership with Jaywing in order to develop a marketing strategy for its UK and Ireland business.

The SaaS provider is seeking to build awareness of its brand and continue its growth among B2B and B2C audiences.

Asia's largest sports media property, One Championship, has announced a partnership with Telenor Myanmar in order to market its martial arts promotion in the region.

Thunderbird Real Food Bars, the Austin-based artisan food bar brand, has hired engagement agency Drumroll its voice agency fo record. The partnership will see both firms collaborate on marketing through voice-controlled systems, developing new ways to market Thunderbird's paleo and vegan-friendly food bars.

Cancer Research UK (CRUK) has appointed Anomaly to work on Stand Up To Cancer, the joint national fundraising campaign from CRUK and Channel 4. The agency won the brief without a pitch, following Anomaly's work on CRUK's 'Right Now' campaign.

Italian soft drinks company Sanpellegrino has appointed We Are Social Milan as its strategic and creative e-commerce partner. The agency's Milan office will work across several Sanpellegrino brands globally to build its social and digital presence.

Fashion, beauty and entertainment specialists Avant PR has been tasked by footwear brand Pastel Sixteen to handle its social influencer relationships. The firm already manages fashion brands such as Missy Empire and Pro Blo.

International restaurant group Ghia Holdings has appointed Mason Williams Communications to manage an integrated campaign ahead of the launch of its first site outside of the Middle East region.

Mason Williams has also been appointed to represent chef José Pizarro and his three restaurants, José Tapas Bar, Pizarro Restaurant and José Pizarro Broadgate. The brief will be run by the lifestyle agency's London office.

British supermarket group Costcutter has reappointed incumbent creative agency Front. The Sheffield-based agency has worked with Costcutter for the past three years, producing creative work for all core platforms and audiences.

Launches

AnyMind Group has officially launched in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Through AdAsia Holdings and CastingAsia, AnyMind Group will roll out its suite of marketing and advertising solutions for marketers and advertisers in Malaysia.

Finn Partners has launched a specialist travel technology group called TravelTech. The new group, which will consist of staff spread across the global communications firm's network, will attempt to capitalise on the growing travel technology sector.

Caviar has announced the launch of offices in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The expansion is set to be supervised by veteran hand Marwan Saab, and follows the launch of Caviar's Dubai office earlier this year.

Scottish PR and digital marketing agency Muckle Media has announced the launch of an office in Glasgow, headed by newly appointed director Pauline McLaughlin. The office will be based in Glasgow's Charing Cross area.

Acquisitions

Healthcare and communications group Huntsworth has acquired a controlling stake in AboveNation Media in a $1.75m deal. The media agency will complement Huntsworth's existing integrated adtech capabilities.
