Final call for The Drum Digital Trading Awards entries

Hear about the best practices from some of our judges — including Dora Michail, managing director, digital, Telegraph Media Group; Henry Eccles, head of UK commerce, Global Partnerships EMEA, Google and Joanna Burton, vice president European strategy, SpotX.

Over the years, Burton has seen some really clever programmatic advertising campaigns in practice across video, mobile, display, connected TV - and other channels. “It would be great to hear about programmatic advertising activities used to deliver business results for clients including changing consumer and perception as well as driving ROI,” she said. “It would also be fantastic for the smart agencies, brands and individuals behind these initiatives to get the recognition for their work.”

New solutions are also an area that judges would like to see coming through the entries. Eccles is excited to see how tech can or is providing new solutions to old problems. Particularly within innovation in audience/targeting, “as an industry we have been talking for too long about real 1-2-1 marketing but have seen little in the way of real solutions,” he explained.

The Drum Digital Trading Awards, recognise and highlight the best examples of digital trading in practice, rewarding those who can actively show that what they do, day in and day out, works for their clients and themselves.

Michail expressed that by taking the time to submit an entry on behalf of your business or an individual is an opportunity to showcase and recognise your team and talent in a way that can’t always be on a done day to day basis. She said: “We are lucky to work in such a vibrant and innovative industry and I hope to see the submissions reflect this. The entries need to show the great levels of creativity and ambition that drive our industry forward and get us all to start thinking bigger and better.”

The entry deadline for the awards has now passed, but you can apply for an extension by contacting pepe.terry@thedrum.com.
