Rauxa's Autumn Berrang

Agency builder Autumn Berrang was hired by women-owned Rauxa to oversee new clients Lansinoh Laboratories and Bahlsen / Rauxa

Berrang, who is based in Rauxa’s New York office, has responsibility over several client teams including Frontpoint Home Security and new clients Bahlsen and Lansinoh Laboratories. Rauxa serves as social media agency of record for new client, Bahlsen a global food company, where it will be focused on driving brand awareness and social engagement while supporting US market expansion. For Lansinoh Laboratories, the agency has been scoped with creating a global brand campaign geared toward expectant and new mothers. As a women-owned independent agency, Rauxa considered this a “sweet spot.”

Berrang, who has agency experience at Rapp and FCB, co-founded and still has ownership of Florida-based boutique branding and advertising agency, Adjective and Co, which she co-founded in 2013. In a statement, Rauxa said Berrang’s entrepreneurial expertise and strategic leadership has helped with the New York Islanders, HP Enterprise, Milk-Bone, and other brands. Whalebone Media, a digital company geared to engagement in print, experiential and digital platforms, was also founded by Berrang.

Her hire, Rauxa said, will help the agency as it does more work in CPG and health and wellness categories.

Said Gina Alshuler, Rauxa’s president and chief executive officer: “We’re excited to have a leader like Autumn join our team. Her entrepreneurial spirit matches our roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic that resides at every level of the agency,” “She’s an expert at building brands and driving results.”

Berrang, who will report to chief client officer Nanci Leos, added, “I’m excited to join a team with so many other amazing women at the helm and with diversity and female empowerment as bedrocks of the agency. It’s so refreshing to see in this industry. As Rauxa continues to gain momentum, I’m proud to be part of building that story with the agency’s strong roster of client partners.”

Berrang is the second high-profile hire by the agency — in late December, they added Huge alumna Preeti Patel as its vice president of technology.
