According to McCann Paris, the agency will be tasked with reviving the 87-year-old brand, which sells skin care, anti-aging and moisturizing products.
A new global communication platform for the brand, which will feature product lines such as Mineral 89, Liftactiv and Normaderm, will be rolled out this year in its key markets.
“We are very proud to partner with such an iconic brand as Vichy, writing a new page of its history as it evolves to face future challenges and opportunities, both in France and internationally,” said Bruno Tallent, chief executive of McCann France, in a statement. “McCann Paris has been working with the L'Oreal group for many years, and we are delighted to be able to extend this partnership within the group's dermo-cosmetic division. This win also marks a milestone in the new dynamic of the McCann group in France.”
Vichy’s global account was previously held by TBWA\Paris.
