Dodds, who was promoted in 2016 to help oversee the UK outpost, had joined the agency in 2012, previously working for Saatchi and Saatchi. Droga5 confirmed Dodds' exit but declined to comment.

Dodds is the second-high profile creative to leave Droga5. Last week, chief creative officer Ted Royer exited the agency after an outside firm was hired to investigate an internal matter related to him.

At the time of Royer's departure, a Droga5 spokesperson wrote that the agency is "committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all our employees."

Dodds joins a growing list of executives who have left top posts at agencies, including Publicis Seattle's Andrew Christou, CP+B's Ralph Watson and others.

Paul Colman from Wieden+Kennedy in London is another UK-based executive who has departed abruptly.
