Justin Pearse leaves Digiday for partner role in Bluestripe Media
Justin Pearse has left Digiday to become a partner at Bluestripe Media, where he will take an equal share in the business alongside husband and wife owners Andy and Lydia Oakes.
Pearse leaves Digiday
Pearse joins the communications agency as it celebrates its one-year anniversary and following his own three-month stint heading up branded content for Digiday. Before that, he was with The Drum Studios for three years.
Andy Oakes and Pearse have worked together regularly over the years, first at New Media Age, then The Drum. Pearse said he left Digiday because he “couldn’t resist the opportunity to join Andy and Lydia”.
On the new role, he added that he was keen to build a “communications agency to help digital companies tell their stories better”.
“Having worked in the digital industry for almost twenty years, I understand their unique challenges and how clever, integrated content and communications can help drive their business," Pearse said.
Andy Oakes said Pearse’s industry knowledge would help scale the agency and grant client access to his digital content expertise. He added: “We’re already hatching plans to take our clients messages to market in new and innovative ways.”
