Saatchi & Saatchi picks up Expedia’s newly consolidated global account

Expedia has consolidated its five worldwide communications accounts and handed the beefed up brief to Saatchi & Saatchi.


Saatchi & Saatchi scoops Expedia account

The agency will work with the travel brand on creative development, brand strategy and execution from its headquarters in London and its Team One site in Los Angeles.

Saatchi & Saatchi will create all brand advertising campaigns spanning TV, digital video, digital display, social media and outdoor. The network’s production house, Prodigious, will also support in the creation of the campaigns.

The Publicis shop won the account following a three-month trial.

Vic Walia, vice president, global brand marketing at Expedia, said: "We are happy to see that Expedia’s culture of ‘test – learn – iterate is also shared by Saatchi & Saatchi and Team One. We are excited about this next chapter for the brand."
