Patanjali goes online in collaboration with Amazon and Flipkart among others

India's most trusted FMCG brand Patanjali has partnered with eight e-commerce platforms to sell its product online.

The eight partners include Amazon, Flipkart, Grofers, Shopclues, BigBasket, 1mg, Paytm Mall and Netmeds, through which its entire range of products would be available online.

According to founder Baba Ramdev, Patanjali's online sales crossed Rs 10 crore during December last year, the highest online sales by any FMCG brand in a month.

Now they are targeting sales of over Rs 1,000 crore in 2018.

Patanjali further aims to expand its inventory with products such as bottled water through brand 'Divya Jal' and apparels and footwear under the brand name 'Paridhan' this year as reported by The Times of India.

Managing director and chief executive of Patanjali Ayurveda, Acharya Balkrishna said: ”It would reach those who do not have access to the point of purchase and they are looking for alternate mechanism to shop and can get Patanjali products at home, and provide most efficient and convenient digital shopping experience.”
