Botworx.ai will further provide insights about customer engagement and sentiment and trends through machine learning.

Mahi de Silva, CEO Botworx.ai, said: “Botworx.ai is helping global brands leverage AI and social media to transform and disrupt the way they engage consumers. We are so pleased to partner with Zee Media Corporation Limited, to create this shining beacon of innovation in India – a model the rest of the world can follow. As a mobile first market, a majority of the current readers already consume and engage with news on social media, our aim is to elevate this experience by personalizing the experience for each and every user in India – in the language of their choosing."

"Zee Media has a fantastic track record but they are also at the forefront the new age of content and news consumption in India. Though a relentless focus on data and insights, they are focused on evolving their content and delivery platforms across broadcast and digital platforms to ensure they deliver a product that delights their readers.”

Rohan Tyagi, product head digital, Zee Media said: “Zee has always been on the cutting edge of news and media publishing. We reach out to consumers across demographics and geographies in India and the world through our diverse range of content and it’s great to be able to engage with all of them simultaneously through our new messenger platform powered by Botworx.ai."

"With the adoption of AI across fields, this was a natural step for us to create a more engaging and evolved relationship with our consumers. We are very excited to work with Botworx.ai and create some great engaging content for our readers."

The Drum earlier spoke with Arvind Gupta, founder member of AI startup Botworx.ai about whether AI will soon be part of the digital agenda for the Indian government soon to which he replied: “AI and Machine learning algorithms require data. India is moving from a data poor country to a data rich country and AI will play a true role in delivering services self services, bringing about a policy driven state where only exceptions will need to be handled by government staff.”
