The appointment caps a period of rapacious growth for the British company which specializes in delivering restaurant food direct to customers doors via its network of cyclists.
Nick Maddison, managing partner, the7stars, said: “Deliveroo is a dynamic and growing company that has quickly embedded itself as part of the UK food scene. We are delighted they have chosen to work with the7stars and we look forward to working with them to deliver the company’s next phase of growth.”
Emily Kraftman, head of marketing, UK and Ireland at Deliveroo, added: “We felt their strategy to be compelling and felt that the7stars’ values and ways of working fit very well with how we work at Deliveroo.”
Operating across 100 cities in the British Isles the service has opened up new markets for restaurants that hadn’t previously considered home delivery, massively expanding the takeaway food market.
Over the summer Deliveroo teamed up with Tripadvisor to offer city listings for the first time.
