The agency, founded and headed up by Michael Moszynski, also scooped the Agency Grand Prix award along with awards for campaign work for their client the Mandarin Hotel Group, which was created by the grandfather of British Pop art Sir Peter Blake who was at the Marriot Grosvenor to collect the awards alongside London Advertising.

Collecting the Marketing Grand Prix Award this year was Team Spirit for its work for financial services client Janus Henderson, while this year’s Chairman’s Award chosen by chairman of the judges ben Stephens from Stack, went to Torpedo for SD Worx.

Now in their eighth year The Drum Network Awards recognises the best marketing services agencies in the UK and this year saw a number of international categories introduced to the awards to better reflect the expanding global membership of The Drum Network, the organisation which helps agency owners to build and lead more profitable agency businesses.

Other winners on the night saw Jellyfish named Digital Agency of the Year, Merkle Periscopix named Advertising Agency of the Year, The Clearing named Branding Agency of the Year and Golin crowned PR Consultancy of the Year.

Speaking of the Awards Richard Draycott, managing director of The Drum Network said: “I am delighted that London Advertising was recognised at the awards tonight, having known Michael and his team for some years now it is good to see an agency who are prepared to do things slightly differently being rewarded for their hard work and determination.

“It was great to have Sir Peter Blake at the awards and to have him say some words about how important creativity still is in the age of digital and technology was very special for us and adds real credibility to The Drum’s stance that creativity and great ideas are what drives our industry.”

Also collecting awards on the night were Cult LDN who were named Social Media Agency of the Year, Earnest which was named B2B Agency of the Year, Found which was named B2C Agency of the Year and Nimbletank which was recognised as Mobile Agency of the Year.
