Digital agency Lab has appointed Steph Hamill as its creative director.

Hamill has previously worked for organisations including ASOS, Havas and Razorfish and developed creative campaigns for brands including Adidas, Dove, Land Rover, John Lewis, Facebook, BBC, Canon, Unicef and Unilever, picking up a number of prestigious awards, including Cannes Lions, One Show and D&AD Pencil awards.

Hamill now intends to draw upon her extensive experience to leverage Lab’s “unique” methods by “blending them into the creative process and delivering something refreshingly different for big brands”.

She said: “As soon as I met the team at Lab I was sold. Most agencies say they do things differently, but Lab really do have a unique, human-centred approach. It’s fascinating! The team’s ambition to do great work is infectious.”

Lab’s founder and managing, Jonny Tooze, said of the appointment: “For most digital agencies creative is just part of the mix, but at Lab creativity is part of the core. Having a creative director as experienced as Steph goes to show how much Lab has grown as an agency and what we can now offer our clients. Steph rocks.”

Lab operates offices in London, Surrey, Croatia and South Africa, working with brands including Keith Prowse, Sage Pay and Aveva.
