Sarah Michelle Gellar's easy baking kit company rises up with new campaign

Modern baking company Foodstirs is using the vocal talents of one of its founders, actor Sarah Michelle Gellar, to help promote the business, which aims to make baking more accessible for families.

Foodstirs launches first video campaign

A new spot by Boulder-based Fortnight Collective starts with Gellar talking about how time-crunched families are, while stating that Foodstirs can make anyone a star of the kitchen.

"All organic, no GMOs, so many OMGs, can turn any parent into a bake sale baller," says Gellar about the ingredients and the potential success of their baking kits on a user's confidence.

Gellar founded the company with Galit Laibow and Greg Fleishman, who were longtime friends and parents in search of more natural, affordable and ethically-sourced mixes and kits to make baking more accessible for families.

Since founding the company in 2015, Foodstirs has already seen success by offering customers a USDA organic baking mix brand. The brand will be available in more than 7,500 stores at of the end of October, coinciding with the launch the first ever national campaign, dubbed “More Flour To Ya.”

The campaign is comprised of online films, digital, and social, which will run through the holiday baking season and focus on empowering families to spend more time in the kitchen together.
