The company has named Annie McNamara as head of sales APAC who has seven years of experience in digital media at companies including Millennial Media and YuMe (now part of RhythmOne), before joining LoopMe’s headquarter in London in 2015.

She will be responsible for growing the APAC business and team from the Singapore hub and bringing LoopMe’s AI brand video solutions to the region.

According to McNamara, much of the growth will be fuelled by mobile advertising and APAC is ahead of the curve in the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI). "This means LoopMe is perfectly placed to offer a solution for agencies and brands which fits their needs," she added.

Stephen Upstone, CEO and co-founder of LoopMe said: "Annie’s experience in mobile advertising puts her in a great position to set up our APAC business, and I’m excited to see her hit the ground running."

"Digital is expected to account for 53.5% of all ad spend by 2020 in APAC and after successful US expansion, APAC was the logical next step for us to open up office."

Caroline Simpson, head of digital, Mindshare Singapore, offed: "LoopMe offer a solution which is unique to the market and allows our brands to optimise to the metrics that matter most. We’re really excited to see them move into the APAC region and look forward to future collaborations."
