Tyrrells Potato Crisps has appointed Frank as its retained PR agency after a competitive pitch process.

Frank will work with Tyrrells on a retained basis from January 2018, overseeing new product launches, consumer campaigns and trade media outreach.

Investec has appointed Leagas Delaney as its lead strategic and creative agency to help define and drive the organisation's brand communications, sponsorships and activations in the UK.

Investec named Leagas Delaney following a selection process that lasted more than three months.

Motorola Asia-Pacific has named FCB Kuala Lumpur as its regional agency of record. The win follows a creative pitch that saw the agency compete against several Singapore-based competitors.

FCB Kuala Lumpur will now handle, among other aspects, promotion marketing and activation duties for the Asia-Pacific region.

London-based agency Margaret has been appointed to launch the new Polaroid Originals brand and OneStep2 camera in the UK.

The Margaret scope of work will encompass the UK launch campaign, press office, influencer outreach and creative and business partnerships in order to create a cultural moment around the Polaroid Originals launch.

Switched on Media has been appointed as the digital agency for mortgage broker, Aussie Home Loans.

A member of the WPP AUNZ Group, Switched on Media will be responsible for Aussie’s digital strategy, planning, media buying and execution across the full range of digital services – SEM, SEO, Display, Affiliates, Social Media, Content Amplification and CRO.

VML has been selected as the agency of record for retailer Dick's Sporting Goods' Second Skin label, a newly launched compression and training apparel brand exclusively sold at Dick's stores and online at SecondSkin.com. VML will work with Dick's to lead creative ideation, creative production and social media strategy for the Second Skin brand. The work will be led from VML’s headquarters in Kansas City.

Bray Leino Events has won a three-year contract to be the official events agency to the Department for International Trade (DIT).

Reviews

Tourism Ireland has begun a hunt for lead global creative and media agencies in partnership with market intelligence provider Creativebrief, with the successful agencies set to be appointed in May 2018.

Publicis London and Carat/i-Prospect serve as incumbent agencies but the official tourism body is obliged to retender for its services every seven years, opening up the field for other firms to muscle in.
