Mental health organisation BeyondBlue is tackling anxiety in a new campaign for World Mental Health Day.

The campaign, which features a man suffering anxiety at work, aims to raise awareness of the health condition and help people experiencing the symptoms to seek support.

The 'Know When Anxiety is Talking' campaign, which includes TV, radio, social content and OOH, aims to help demystify the condition, which is often confused with stress.

Anxiety is the most common mental health condition in Australia and affects 2 million people in any given year, which is twice as many as depression. Despite this, many sufferers take a long time to recognise their symptoms. The campaign aims to help people to identify their anxiety sooner to ensure they seek treatment faster.

The campaign was created by Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and directed by Glendyn Ivin.
