Asics has chosen Saatchi & Saatchi as its new global creative agency of record

Account wins

Footwear brand Asics has chosen Saatchi & Saatchi as its new global creative agency of record.

Saatchi & Saatchi will handle the account mostly out of its Los Angeles and Tokyo offices. 180 Amsterdam had previously created international campaigns for the brand since 2011.

Royal Holloway, University of London, has appointed Splendid Unlimited to transform the institution's website experience to communicate its reputation as one of the UK's best universities.

Splendid Unlimited’s task is to develop a digital platform to better communicate the university’s strength to current and prospective students in the UK and abroad. In addition, the brief is to ensure the website meets the needs of other key audiences, including alumni, current and potential partners and research collaborators and those looking to use the university’s resources for conferences and events.

Tourism NI has appointed Belfast-based communications and PR practice, Jago, to support its PR in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, following a competitive tendering process.

Jago will work alongside Tourism NI’s in-house teams in Belfast and Dublin.

Rise Art, the online marketplace, has appointed Tin Man following a three-way pitch process.

Tin Man was tasked with devising a year-long creative PR programme that changes perception of the art industry as elitist and inaccessible in a bid to engage new audiences and bring great art to the masses.

Nutritional experts Pollen + Grace awarded its consumer PR brief to Bland PR to increase its national presence.

Bland PR has been brought on board to communicate the brand’s journey from well-established London food-on-the-go brand to national player after securing increased retail distribution.

The account was previously held by consumer agency Hope & Glory.

MattressNextDay, the online bed and mattress retailer has appointed Enjoy Digital to provide search marketing services to the brand.

The Leeds-based integrated digital agency will deliver paid search marketing activities in order to evolve and drive forward MattressNextDay’s online strategy and increase revenue. Enjoy Digital will also implement conversion rate optimisation projects to maximise site traffic and increase overall conversion rates for the online sleep brand.

AvantiGas, one of the UK’s LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) energy suppliers, has appointed Uber as its creative agency.

The integrated agency is to work on the account in both a B2B and B2C capacity.

The Association for Member Nominated Trustees (AMNT) has appointed Lansons as its retained corporate communications adviser.

Lansons will support the organisation with its strategic communications, offering press office and media relations management, bespoke campaign support and assistance in the preparation of consultation and policy documents.

Fashion label Brax has handed its TV and digital media account to The House of Communication Hamburg.

The two agencies, Mediaplus and Plan.Net, prevailed with their pitch and are now responsible for Leineweber GmbH & Co. KG’s media strategy in the entire DACH region (in addition to the Netherlands). The aim of the planned long-term collaboration is to refine and update the image of the established Brax core brand.

Mobile partnerships platform Button announced that it has added retail giant Walmart to its marketplace. Button has also welcomed publisher Buzzfeed to the platform.
