As The Drum Search Awards kicks off in the US this year, the awards ceremony rewarded the best of the best, in search.
Taking home the grand prix honor is the Spark Foundry for its campaign with Morgan Stanley’s “External Data Integration To Drive Performance In Paid Search And Social”, as well as taking home the best integrated strategy or campaign award.
Chairperson and judge, Purna Vijiri, senior Bing ads PPC training manager, Microsoft said: "This year's winners were a really brilliant bunch and it made judging an extremely difficult process- so much creativity and talent to choose from. It shows just how our industry has been maturing. There has never been a better time to work in search."
Snapping up the chairman’s award is Elite SEM. Vijiri explained: “Elite SEM have shown remarkable growth and client retention, owing heavily to their successes in cross-brand and cross-channel wins for their varied portfolio of clients.
"But it also comes down to their efforts to educate and develop their team members. What's more, they give back to the industry, sharing knowledge regularly via conferences and trade publications. And the company shows tremendous loyalty to their employees, which sets the bar higher for others in the industry."
Other outstanding winners include: Jellyfish Online Marketing US for performance agency of the year, best use of data and best retail/e-commerce campaign, Yext for technical innovation of the year, best search software and best travel/leisure/sports campaign and Reprise Media for best use of connected devices, best use of technology in a search campaign and best entertainment, consumer products/services campaign.
