Jamie Oliver rolls out a chatbot on Facebook which offer recipes via emojis

As part of a promotion strategy of his new book, celebrity chef and restaurateur Jamie Oliver has introduced a chatbot which will make use of food emojis to come up with recipes.

The recipes will be come from Oliver's new book, Five Ingredients Quick & Easy Food, and can be accessed from Oliver’s Facebook page and Facebook Messenger.

The chatbot is also built to offer snack ideas for different purposes, for example a user could type a car emoji and bot will offer snacks suggestions .

Greg Burke, senior digital creative at Jamie Oliver Group, said, “Jamie’s new book is all about Quick & Easy food so we wanted to build the quickest and easiest chatbot on the market whilst entertaining Jamie fans at the same time."

Previously, Spice brand Schwartz partnered with The Apprentice Finalist, Nick Holzherr - and Spark Foundry to create a similar chatbot on Facebook.
