Dog, a digital agency, has announced that it has entered a joint venture with creative agency RHAD in Singapore.

Dog’s chief executive Gerry McCusker will take up the position of chairman, while RHAD will be led by Murtaza Topiwalla, Dog’s former technical director in Singapore.

The joint venture will allow both agencies to better serve existing clients across Southeast Asia by delivering exceptional customer experiences through strategic planning, intelligent platforms, intuitive UX, creative data-driven marketing.

“This partnership marks a significant moment in Dog’s history. We are an independent agency, collaborative in our approach and brave in our nature,” said McCusker.

“Having made considerable progress over the past five years, it makes complete sense to enter into a mutually beneficial partnership as we work to achieve sustainable growth in the region.

“RHAD is the perfect partner for Dog, a great cultural fit sharing our core values and ambitions for our clients and for our own future.”

Added Topiwalla: “I’ve been working with the team at Dog for over four years - it’s been a fantastic experience, delivering some great work for amazing clients. Together with the new team in Singapore, I am excited about the next chapter.

“Working with creative director, Brian Chia and the rest of the team, this is an opportunity to combine talent, experience and capabilities to offer the market a truly compelling proposition.

“Personally, I am honoured to be taking the lead and build on the tremendous progress the directors at Dog – Gerry, Alex Wilson and David Hamilton – have made and continue to make in the region.”
