'How to tie a tie' & 'How to kiss' among Google's top 10 'How to' searches

In revealing the most popular How To search queries it has recieved, Google has also unveiled a website titled 'How to fix a toilet' to charter the top things people search 'How to' for because of its growing popularity.

It has also revealed that the most searched question was How to tie a tie? followed by How to Kiss? and How to get pregnant among the top three respectively.

According to the website, the most searched 'How tos' across various age category , range from how to boil eggs to how to tell if a guy likes you.

The website compiles data from 100 of the most popular "How to" searches typed into Google's search engine worldwide, giving users the option to filter the inquiries by location to gain understanding of various trends.

Also to know most searched in different categories, for example, if you want to know the 'how to fix' searches then one has to type in a location, such as India, into the site's search bar and upon doing so, an interactive picture of a semi-furnished home interior appears. The most popular search will be for the item which is sized the largest and in this case the wall.

Google's News Lab and visual data journalist Xaquin G.V. explained: "Our global data is language-agnostic, which means that it takes into account the often overlooked fact that not everyone in the world speaks English. So when someone in the lusophone world searches "Como beijar" it will show up in Google's "How To Kiss" search."
