Uber calls out competitors in Singapore to promote #NationalPoolDay campaign

Uber has launched a social media campaign called #NationalPoolDay in Singapore to rally Singaporeans to come together as one for a good cause, ahead of the Republic’s 52nd birthday.


Uber calls for Singapore and competitors to celebrate National Pool Day

The campaign, crafted by BBH Singapore, launched last week on Uber Singapore's Facebook page with a video encouraging Singaporeans and transport service providers across the country to come together and reduce traffic emissions for greener National Day.

Transport providers that Uber called out included ride-sharing rival Grab, bike-sharing companies like Mobike and Obike, as well as transport companies Tower Transit and SMRT.

Grab and Mobike responded directly to Uber's post while Tower Transit responded to Uber with posts on its Facebook page to express support for a greener Singapore.
