Both will report to the agency’s chief creative officer Toygar Bazarkaya and are his first hires since joining the agency two months ago, helping to build out the creative leadership team.

“Max is the real deal. His ability to think beyond specific channels is unique. He’s a true pro problem-solver that will go the distance to create innovative products if needed. Bruno is also very talented. I am excited that our new agency model of Unlimited and McDonald’s, as one of the most iconic brands, allows us to attract the best in the business,” Bazarkaya stated.

Geraldo comes to the agency from FCB Chicago, where he served as senior vice president, executive creative director. He hails from Brazil, where he started his career at TBWA and won his first Lion. He went on to work at other agencies in Brazil including JWT, AlmapBBDO and DM9DDB. In 2012, he joined FCB Brazil, then moved to FCB Chicago at the beginning of 2016. Geraldo has over 50 Cannes Lions to his credit, including the Mobile Grand Prix. In the past two years alone, Geraldo earned 20 Lions at Cannes.

Prior to joining Unlimited, Guimaraes worked at Fallon London, FCB Chicago, Ogilvy New York and recently at DigitasLBi Chicago.

Omnicom formed Unlimited in November 2016, several months after McDonald's chose Omnicom to handle its creative account in the US.
