Beattie Group forges trans-Atlantic partnership with Tartan Group

Beattie Tartan will straddle Toronto, Calgary, Victoria and Vancouver with a team of 12 PR, digital, social and creative specialists with combined sales of $2.5m, predominantly from tourism focused clients such as Destination Canada, Jordan Tourism Board, Aboriginal Tourism Association of Canada and the Adventure Travel Trade Association.

Beattie Group CEO Laurna Woods said: “Canada will be the springboard for our growth globally. It is a forward-thinking country, stable and diverse. We are already planning a major recruitment drive for top digital, PR and social talent across Canada but especially in Toronto and Vancouver by building on Canada’s strong economy.”

Beattie Tartan will be headed up by Beattie Group chairman, Kevin Roberts, former global CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi and former President and CEO of Pepsi Cola Canada.

Tartan founder Deirdre Campbell will serve as managing director of Beattie Tartan, aiming to harness Beattie’s expertise to become the ‘most admired’ integrated creative communications agency in Canada.
