Publicis launches its public relations agency MSL Herd in Australia

Publicis has launched its public relations agency MSL in Australia, following the acquisition of local PR agency shop The Herd Agency.

Publicis has launched its first integrated public relations service in Australia

The new agency will be named Herd MSL and will be lead by Herd’s management team of founder Jamie Verco, CEO Vanessa Liell and agency heads Katarina Farrell, Stuart Wragg and Lewis Shields.

Herd MSL provides Publicis Communications with its first fully integrated public relations service and will provide strategy, corporate affairs, earned media, stakeholder relations, integrated campaigns, issues and crisis management, social media and content marketing.

Michael Rebelo, CEO, Publicis Communications ANZ, said of the acquisition: "It couldn't be timelier to expand our capabilities and award-winning talent base in ANZ. We're optimistic about the new possibilities and opportunities this will bring to our respective clients."

Herd was formed in October 2016 to bring together three sister public relations companies; N2N, Fuel Communications and Touch Creative under one roof.
