You can apply for an extension for The Scottish Event Awards 2017

Did you miss the deadline for The Drum Scottish Event Awards? Don’t worry, you can ask for an extension and still have the chance to show off and celebrate your success.

There is still plenty of time for entrants to get their work in front of our esteemed panel of expert industry judges including: Geometry Global’s Andy Dougan, Undercurrent’s Damien Clarke and The Gloag Foundation’s Eilidh Muir.

Commenting on the awards, Clarke said: “As our industry grows in stature through the further integration of the traditional marketing mix, it only becomes more important to understand how the creativity, strategy and delivery of experiential campaigns are developing throughout the UK.

“Scotland has a rich heritage in live brand communications and I’m looking forward to having a good look through this year’s entries and pulling out the truly brilliant work as the winners! Good luck to all involved.”

Some of the categories businesses can enter are: Conference of the Year; Sports Event of the Year; Festival of the Year; Event Caterer of the Year; Best Use of Technology and Events Team of the Year.

Students can also get involved by entering the Student Event of the Year category, for which they will receive a 70% discounted rate.

Open to event organisers, promoters, in-house teams, venue or industry suppliers, the awards let entrants demonstrate their event skills, knowledge, delivery and results against their rivals and peers so they are able to reassure clients that their business is the one to work with.

You can apply for an extension on this year's entry deadline here.

This year’s sponsors are: Your Event Scotland, EventScotland and Tint.
