Calvin Klein’s latest campaign takes the form of a music video for indie band The xx.

Starring celebrities who have appeared in previous Calvin Klein campaigns - including Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown and Moonlight actor Ashton Sanders - the music video pays tribute to Los Angeles and features the brand’s clothing.

Created by Calvin Klein’s chief creative officer, Raf Simons, and photographer and filmmaker Alasdair McLellan who directed The xx’s previous videos for ‘On Hold and ’Say Something’, a statement from the brand said Simons saw “a connection between the videos and his own work”.

The seven-minute long film tells the story of what happens when young kids in love cut school and features Los Angeles architectural gems - Lord Wright’s Sowden house and John Lautner’s Rainbow House.

Ex-Dior creative director Simons joined Calvin Klein last August and since then has created attention grabbing campaigns including recruiting Millie Bobby Brown for the democratised line, the men of Moonlight for an underwear push and 73-year-old model Lauren Hutton for an lingerie campaign proving there’s no age limit for being an underwear model.
