Global B2B agency Gyro has hired Angela Kyle to take on the newly created role of head of new business development in the US.
She joins from Omnicom brand consultancy Wolff Olins, where she served as head of new business for North America. In her new role, she will be tasked with leading new business efforts, cross-network collaboration and partnerships for Gyro in the US.
Her hiring comes on the heels of other executive appointments at the agency, which was acquired by Dentsu Aegis last year. Earlier this year, Gyro hired Adryanna Sutherland as chief operating officer in the US and Mike Harris as global chief strategy officer-technology. The shop was also recently named agency of record for Grant Thornton.
“Gyro is at a unique point in its growth cycle. There is so much opportunity in the B2B space and there is no one better positioned to bring expertise, excellence and value to this important and too often underserved community,” said Kyle in a statement. “I look forward to all of the great things to come.”
Added Christoph Becker, global chief executive and chief creative officer of Gyro: “Angela understands both the impact of strong creative as well as the power of media, data, analytics and technology. She knows what this combination of feeling and precision offers for B2B clients. She is a proven new business magnet who is uniquely suited to help drive our goal of becoming the most influential global creative B2B powerhouse on the planet.”
Kyle is also the founder of PlayBuild, a New Orleans nonprofit that is focused on transforming urban spaces into outdoor design classrooms for kids.
