Two Circles will help European Professional Club Rugby better engage with its audiences

The data-driven sports marketing agency will work with the EPCR, who are organisers of rugby union's European Rugby Champions Cup and Challenge Cup tournaments, to accelerate engagement growth across the 2017/18 season.

Two Circles will analyse the kind of content fans are most interested in and how they consume it to help the EPCR develop a new approach to its marketing activities that will ultimately increase the number of potential commercial opportunities.

Ian Treseder, marketing and commercial manager at EPCR, said: “It is more important than ever to understand who our fans are and how they want to engage with us. Our partnership with Two Circles will provide us with this insight and help us market more effectively in a way that benefits our fans, as well as EPCR.”

Kristian Gotsch, client services director for EMEA at Two Circles, added: “We are delighted to be working with EPCR on this project. Competition among different sports – and different bodies within individual sports – has never been greater. EPCR has a magnificent platform to work from and by leveraging their digital assets, will further improve their standing and ability to grow commercially”.

The partnership with the EPCR follows on from last month’s announcement that Wimbledon appointed Two Circles to help it better understand and communicate with its audiences across all brand touchpoints.
