Land Securities looks to destination specialists BWP to boost Galleria sales
The largest commercial property development and investment company in the UK, Land Securities UK, has appointed BWP Group to increase footfall and sales at The Galleria in Hatfield following a strategic review.
BWP Group will use its retail experience to identify the largest opportunities for increased sales within the existing target audience and customer base, whilst maintaining the existing core customer, and using this information to deliver fully integrated marketing support, including PR, events and social media management.
Tim Stirling, general manager at The Galleria, said: “We are very much looking forward to working with the BWP Group team. We have been impressed with their creativity and professionalism and are confident that this partnership will see fantastic results.”
BWP Group has also been briefed by Berkeley West London to develop a brand identity creative for the commercial hub of its Southall Waterside development. As part of its winning pitch, BWP Group will be refining the value proposition, brand narrative and creating the brand identity. It will also be creating the sales enablement tools for the leasing agents to approach prospective occupiers, whilst developing supporting marketing activity to generate awareness of the development within the industry.
Commenting on the win, Kieron Weedon, BWP’s group strategic director, said: “This is such a stimulating project for BWP Group. The commercial hub will be a key part of the ‘placemaking’ philosophy that sits behind this exciting, mixed-use development and will complement the existing diverse and energetic retail and leisure offer in Southall.”
