Business on the Move: P&G, Design Museum, McLaren and more

Procter & Gamble has consolidated its media account with Publicis Media

Procter & Gamble (P&G) has consolidated its media planning, scheduling and buying in the UK and Ireland with Publicis Media following a review of its business in Northern Europe earlier this year.

The account – estimated to be worth more than £200m – was previously managed by Starcom Mediavest and then split between Starcom and Mediavest Spark during Publicis’ restructure.

Meanwhile, MediaCom oversaw the print side of the account. That will also be moved into Publicis Media in the coming weeks.

McLaren Automotive has appointed media agency DCT8 to run its European regional office account. The agency won the account as a result of the its successful European regional media campaign for the McLaren Sports Series in 2016.

The Design Museum has appointed technical event production business Blitz GES as its preferred supplier in a three-year deal.

Blitz GES has worked with the venue since its move from Shad Thames to Kensington in late 2016, and will continue to deliver full AV and technical event production services to its clients.

CrossFit Inc. has appointed IMG as its exclusive global licensing representative in a multi-year deal.

IMG, which also represents CrossFit, Inc. across content, media and live events, will now expand the company’s worldwide presence further through new licensed product categories under the CrossFit brand. This will include management of CrossFit, Inc.’s existing licensing portfolio, including its exclusive apparel and footwear rights partnership with Reebok.
