Stirratt will serve as vice president of global marketing solutions in the US and Canada. In this role, she will lead the US Global Marketing Solutions team, focusing on growing Facebook's advertising business and helping marketers and agencies better connect with their consumers.

“I am thrilled to be joining Facebook and humbled to lead the US and Canada Global Marketing Solutions team,” Stirratt said in a statement. “I have long believed in the meaningful value Facebook provides advertisers, and I’ve heard from marketers repeatedly over the past five years that an ad on the platform drives business. Together, Facebook and Instagram are the best mobile advertising products out there today. I can’t wait to help further the brand’s journey.”

Facebook noted that Stirratt grew revenue while spearheading acquisitions and international development at Verve and she has also served as chief revenue officer at marketing technology company Acxiom and social networking site MySpace.

“I’ve watched Nada’s success from afar since we first worked together at Viacom,” said Carolyn Everson, vice president of Global Marketing Solutions, in a statement. “She is a proven leader with incredible digital experience that will be invaluable at Facebook. Throughout her career, Nada has worked with brands and agencies across every industry, exemplifying a deep focus on driving real value powered by data-driven thinking.”

For his part, Ahmad-Taylor is joining as a vice president of product marketing.

Most recently, Ahmad-Taylor served as chief executive and president of THX. He previously held positions including vice president of SmartTV services at electronics company Samsung, chief executive of sports fan site FanFeedr and senior vice president of product development and strategy at Viacom.

“The addition of Ty to run our Monetization Product Marketing organization is a huge win for our ads teams, and for Facebook overall,” said David Fischer, vice president of business and marketing partnerships, in a statement. “He’s a proven leader who truly understands how to grow a business and how to bring the best mobile experiences to people. I know he’s the right person to lead this team as our monetization efforts continue to expand.”

Ahmad-Taylor added, “I am more than excited to join Facebook, as I feel a deep connection to the company’s mission and intention. Facebook has done an amazing job in bringing people and businesses more closely together, and I look forward to working with the team to continue advancing those efforts around the globe.”
