Space and Time Media has appointed Dan Hughes as the new head of programmatic to enhance the agency’s offering.

In this newly created role, Hughes will oversee the operations of the agency’s programmatic trade desk while ensuring that a robust strategy for the proper use of this technology is employed across Space and Time’s regional offices, new business proposition and ongoing client relationships.

Hughes has extensive experience in the programmatic space, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improving client ROI. Previously Hughes has worked in a number of different agency roles; MEC for five years working on the Lloyds banking business, and later helping to run their paid social team. More recently he’s worked in a number of client-facing roles including on agency trading desk, Cadreon, working across a range of their national and international brands including Royal Mail, Microsoft, the Economist and Zurich Insurance.

Following the agency’s continued growth and accolades of ‘Number One Elite Media Agency’ in The Drum Independent Census 2016, Justin Stracey, director said: “We are absolutely delighted that Dan has joined Space & Time Media. He brings with him the experience and gravitas that adds another dimension to our extensive portfolio of services, and we are looking forward to the demonstrable effect this will have on our clients’ marketing activities.”
