Video, digital and immersive agency The Moment has hired Matt Cole, formerly of Omnicom Media Group UK’s content agency Drum, as its new creative director.
Cole joins The Moment after three years as creative director at Drum where he oversaw the RNLI 'Respect the Water' campaign which recently won gold for best brand documentary at the Brand Film Festival. He was also leading the creative team when Drum won agency of the year at The Drum Content Awards 2015.
“I’m interested in creating work that’s inspiring for our audiences and there’s huge scope to create memorable and engaging experiences with The Moment’s video, virtual and digital expertise," Cole said.
The Moment works with brands including DFS, Levi's and Ladbrokes and became part of The Creative Engagement Group last year following the appointment of former Havas chief executive Russ Lidstone to lead the business.
Lidstone said: "[Matt] is a truly creative spirit and has a unique background that covers digital, social, film and TV, so he’s a perfect fit for our unique mix capabilities.”
