McKinney New York hires Joe Maglio as first-ever CEO
North Carolina-based McKinney has hired Joe Maglio to run its four-year-old New York office.

Maglio, who will serve as McKinney New York's first-ever chief executive, previously served as managing director of Havas New York. Previously, Kerry Fitzmaurice - who has left McKinney - led the office as managing director.
McKinney, which is owned by Cheil Worldwide, opened its New York shop in 2013. Since opening its doors, it has worked on experiential marketing efforts for Samsung and Norwegian Air and has created campaigns for brands including Crocs.
“We are very happy to bring Joe into the McKinney family,” said Brad Brinegar, chairman and CEO of McKinney, in a statement. “He has a great track record of winning, managing, and growing significant accounts. He gets and appreciates experiential marketing, the foundation of our current business at McKinney NY. Joe’s a strategic, disciplined marketer with a real entrepreneurial spirit who I am counting on to build McKinney NY into a creative showcase for the McKinney brand, on behalf of Cheil Worldwide.”
At Havas New York, Maglio co-led the agency’s account management department, working with clients including TD Ameritrade, Dos Equis and Edible Arrangements. Before joining Havas, he worked at agencies including Publicis and Ogilvy & Mather.
Maglio is also the co-founder of The Mozzarella Joint, a food stand in Yankee Stadium.
