This week has seen another wave of appointments and departures at brands, media owners and agencies. The Drum has rounded up the key moves from the EMEA, APAC and North America regions below.

Maxus
Richard Lloyd has been promoted to the newly created role of worldwide head of programmatic at WPP media agency Maxus.
In the new role, Lloyd will lead advertisers through the technological changes that are creating new opportunities for them, as a result of the industry’s ongoing digital transformation.
Roberto Cavalli
Paul Surridge has joined Roberto Cavalli as creative director, with responsibility over all the group’s brands and for all creative functions. The appointment will be effective immediately.
Surridge’s first season will debut with the women’s spring/summer 2018 collection, which will be shown in Milan in September 2017.
Trinity Mirror
Trinity Mirror this week announced a number of changes to the senior editorial team.
Neil Benson has stepped down as editorial director of regionals after 16 years, as Alan Edmunds, currently his deputy, steps into the role.
David Higgerson, regionals digital publishing director has been promoted to the new role of digital editorial strategy director. His responsibilities will extend across the whole publishing group, and he will report to chief innovation officer Eirik Svendsen.
Ben Rankin, currently editor of Mirror Online, will be promoted to editorial director Mirror Online, following the departure of Pete Picton.
AXA
Darrell Sansom has taken up the role of group marketing director at AXA. He replaces marketing director Cheryl Toner, and brand & digital director Simon Lloyd, who departed the business in March and April.
Mother
Mike Clear has returned to Mother to take on the newly created role of head of Mother Studios, to expand the agency’s integrated content production capabilities.
Livity
Alex Goat has been promoted to chief executive of youth-led creative network Livity. He takes over from Sam Conniff and Michelle Morgan, who have jointly held the role since Livity’s inception in 2001. Conniff and Morgan will move into the roles of co-founders, focusing on creating new opportunities for the business.
Aiwip
Susan Clements has joined Aiwip (All I Want Is Print), the student advertising platform, to lead its advertising sales and brand partnerships.
Improve Digital
Sebastiaan Moesman, former COO Worldwide of GroupM Connect, has joined Improve Digital as its new chief executive.
He is joining Improve Digital as the company's founders, Joelle Frijters (CEO) and Janneke Niessen (CIO), are stepping down after leading the company for almost 10 years.
DDB North America
Britt Hayes has joined DDB North America, part of Omnicom, as chief people officer. She joins from Grey Group, where she managed creative talent and operations for the network’s New York office.
CtrlShift
Khairul Syahar has joined marketing solutions company CtrlShift as senior director of business development in Malaysia. In the role Syahar will deliver CtrlShift’s digital advertising, marketing and ad tech solutions to Malaysian and regional CMOs.
