Both locations will plug directly into the agency’s existing office footprint in Los Angeles, New York and Amsterdam, allowing it to work more closely with local creatives and service big name clients such as eBay, Google and Dropbox.

Both offices will be headed up by Chris Kay, former lead of the Los Angeles studio, with Johnny Tan, chief creative officer at BBH, acting as executive creative director.

72andSunny has been gearing up for the expansion since the start of the year with the promotion of chief strategy officer and partner Matt Jarvis to the role of global CEO. In recent months the agency has picked up a raft of new business from clients ranging from General Mills, Instagram and eBay to Lipton Ice Tea.

In February the agency revealed it had entered into a creative partnership with graphic designer David Carson.
