Karmarama co-founder pays tribute to 'charming, smart & decent' Guy Hedger as murder investigation is launched

Guy Hedger

Karmarama co-founder Dave Buonaguidi has paid tribute to Guy Hedger who was killed at his home during a burglary on Sunday morning.

Hedger, the group marketing director of general insurance at LV=, worked with Karmarma in 2008 and was working as marketing director at Avonbourne International and Business and Enterprise Trust while living in East Dorset.

As a result of the incident, police have launched a murder investigation and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

In tribute to Hedger, Buonaguidi explained that he worked with him while the agency was 'rebuilding' in 2008 and that he was grateful for being given the opportunity to pitch for the business.

"Guy was a great client," he told The Drum. "Charming, smart and decent, everything you would want in a client. His business and his faith in the agency gave us a lot of momentum to kick on," he added.

Dorset Police has urged anyone with information about the killing to contact the force at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk, or by calling 101, quoting incident number 30:53.

Alternatively, they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or via Crimestoppers.
