Land Rover expands rugby sponsorship with Glasgow Warriors deal
Land Rover has broadened its rugby sponsorship portfolio after forming a new partnership with Glasgow Warriors.

Finn Russel, Stuart Hogg, Jonny Gray and Tommy Seymour unveiled the new partnership at Scotstoun Stadium
The three-year deal was announced today (26 April) at the Warriors’ Scotstoun Stadium and sees Land Rover become the official vehicle partner of the rugby union side.
Under the terms of the agreement Land Rover’s branding will feature on the front and back of the Warriors playing shirts, beginning this Friday (28 April) when the Glasgow side travel to Dublin to face Leinster.
For its part the car brand has vowed to support the game in Scotland by promoting the Warriors through its Scottish retailers and engaging with customers to strengthen ties between the local community and the team.
Jeremy Hicks, managing director of Jaguar Land Rover UK, said the partnership with the Warriors marked “an important addition to the brands portfolio of rugby sponsorships” and was a “testament to Land Rover’s continued support of rugby in the UK”.
Nathan Bombrys, Glasgow Warriors managing director said Land rover had “such a rich and respected heritage in rugby” and was a “natural fit for the club”.
He added: “Land Rover is the latest blue chip company to join our family of sponsors and it’s great that they’ve chosen to partner with Glasgow Warriors in order to further strengthen their position within UK rugby."
Land Rover’s UK rugby sponsorship portfolio now includes a presence in England, Wales and Scotland. The brand is the official vehicle of Premiership Rugby, principal partner of Welsh regional side Cardiff Blues, main club partner of English Premiership Rugby side Wasps and title sponsor of the UK grassroots rugby programme, the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup.
The partnership with the Warriors follows on from years of steady growth for the Glasgow side whose attendances and performances have steadily improved over the last five years.
