Creativity in advertising has become more important than ever as brands try to stand out and make an impact in what has become an increasingly loud and cluttered world. Client demand for content, mixed with the myriad of technologies that have changed how consumers interact with brands, has led to a new era of creativity - which is why The Drum is kicking off its inaugural 50 under 30 in the US by celebrating women who work in creative roles.

For the past three years, The Drum has been honoring women in the UK and around the world through its 50 under 30 series, which has historically recognized women who have blazed a trail in digital. To kick off 50 under 30’s inaugural foray into the US, The Drum will not only be honoring women working in creatively-led roles but will also be choosing 10 winners from five US regions to showcase the talent of individuals across the country.

"What's great about creativity is that it comes from anywhere and everywhere," said Doug Zanger, Americas editor for The Drum. "Yes, the epicenters like New York City, Chicago and LA have massive amounts of talent, but I always love learning about the people who are doing amazing things in the most unexpected places."

The nominations are open to creatives working in all corners of the industry — marketing, advertising, tech, design, digital or media. Specifically, The Drum will be looking to highlight women who have pushed the creative envelope in their respective fields. Whether they’ve helped create a game-changing campaign or utilized technology in a way that’s never been done before, we’re looking to celebrate women who represent what the present and future of creativity looks like.

Nominate an individual or individuals for 50 under 30 US here. A panel of judges will help The Drum determine which woman will be honored in each state.
