Eight martech agencies in Europe and the US today announced the formation of a network of B2B agencies, calling it Martech Global, consisting of 26 agencies and 600 customers with an objective to assist global B2B enterprises with their digital marketing transformation.

The agency network is launching today in conjunction with the Marketo Summit in San Francisco, with founding members from Europe and the Americas.

The main challenge for B2B agencies, according to founding agency Avaus’ Emma Storbacka, is that agencies need to not only adopt new marketing technology but learn how to work with it to drive business results. "With more than 300 martech consultants and around 100 certified Marketo experts, we are one of the biggest Marketo partners globally," she said.

Koen de Witte from Leadfabrik notes that Martech Global offers an alternative to the big consultancies.

“Despite their size, their martech competence is typically limited to certain geographies. Transformation requires strong local support, and that’s where the Martech Global network will play a role,” says de Witte.

The founding members of the Martech Global network are Marketo’s gold-certified partners Avaus (Nordics), CRM Technologies (UK), Elixiter (US), Leadfabric (Benelux), Onemedia Consulting (Germany), Kapturall (Spain and Latin America), SunTseu (France) and Vonazon (US), with new members being added over time.

“A digitally transformed marketing function is key to success in the engagement economy – we are very excited about the support that the Martech Network can add to our partner portfolio,” says Robin Ritenour, senior vice president for partnerships and alliances at Marketo.
