IPG Mediabrands launches Ansible Singapore

IPG Mediabrands has launched its mobile media and technology business Ansible Singapore.

This follows behind the launch of social media specialists Mediabrands Society in Hong Kong.

Ansible’s Singapore launch marks its sixth office in APAC, with its global footprint now extending across 16 countries, with 24 offices globally.

Brands will be able to access global mobile publisher ratecards, exclusive technology partnerships, proprietary mobile media planning tools, best practices and patented technologies that allow brands to utilise location-based advertising.

“It’s great news for our clients in Singapore - we can instantly provide them with the world’s best and most awarded proprietary mobile technologies, leveraging our global network to provide them a significant competitive advantage”, said Travis Johnson, global president, Ansible.

Ansible Singapore will be led by Yi Liang Lim, who will report to the head of digital for IPG Mediabrands Singapore, Jacob Teo.

“Having the highest smartphone penetration in the world means that there is significance for a business with a dedicated mobile focus. The launch of Ansible Singapore couldn’t be timelier. Marketers are no longer satisfied with paid media solutions only, they are seeking a holistic approach to elevate their relationships with consumers on the platform,” said Lim.

“Ansible has a long and successful history in many markets, including Australia and the US, creating impactful mobile campaigns and building solutions with technology at the core. The agency will help our clients unlock the full potential of mobile marketing which is now a fundamental connection point between consumers and brands,” said David Haddad, managing director, Singapore.
