Ellen DeGeneres enlists Bradley Cooper to help keep Oscar selfie tweet record
Ellen DeGeneres is desperately trying to cling on to her record of posting the most re-tweeted tweet ever, and has enlisted the man who snapped the famous Oscars selfie, Bradley Cooper to help.

DeGeneres is defending her title from highschool student Carter Wilkerson who is trying to collect 18 million retweets to win a year's free supply of chicken nuggets from Wendy's. So far he is at 3 million tweets, edging closer to DeGeneres record of 3.3 million.
In a segment on her TV show last week, DeGeneres and Cooper ran a spoof PSA announcement asking for help. The TV host is asking people to retweet her tweet each time they retweet Wilkerson's, so that she can retain her title.
"We put our heart and our soul in to that selfie," said Cooper. "I had to hold my arms up like this for 35 to 40 seconds, my arms and biceps were shaking."
DeGeneres added: "I was sat on Meryl Streep's lap for an uncomfortably long time".
The TV host has retained her record since 2014.
